One of the unique aspects of a construction law practice is the likelihood that you will handle cases involving numerous parties, often with cross-claims and third-party claims, as well as parties occasionally having multiple lawyers (one for the case and one for coverage).
Without proper planning and management, these cases can too often spiral out of control, with the deposition of a single witness taking months to complete as 10 different lawyers each ask their questions, on the 1 day per month they could each agree to be available.
