The South Carolina Bar CLE Division is proud to once again host the North Carolina and South Carolina Construction Law Section Biennial Meeting at the Francis Marion Hotel in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.

Every two years, the Construction Law Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar meet to discuss legal issues of common significance. This year’s program includes an impressive faculty line-up and addresses numerous topics of interest to construction lawyers in the Carolinas.

This year, we’ll dive into innovative and current topics and projects such as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), South Carolina’s billion-dollar project to upgrade I-26 and I-20, and economic trends, along with the basics of damages, force majeure and risk sharing. The recurring and ever popular session on dispute resolution and the case law update are back!

Finally, you will find yourself living in the moment and confidently meditating during and after the program on mindfulness which will qualify for substance abuse/mental health credit. This seminar is an intermediate to advanced level program.

Planned by the SCBar CLE Division and the NCBA Construction Law Section
