Clean Power Plan: Update and What Comes Next

This session summarizes the history of the Clean Power Plan (CPP) as well as the current status of challenges or potential amendments to the approach for this plan.

The session addresses the grounds offered in support of and opposition to the CPP in the context of the current Administration’s consideration of the future for the plan.

Finally, the session looks at other ongoing efforts to control Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions including state and local efforts, litigation aimed at GHG emissions and scientific strategies aimed at curbing GHG emissions.
